PALH Mentorship Collaboration Event

PALH is excited to host our first collaboration with the Student Alliance and Mentorship Committee, bringing together Pre-PAs, PA students, and practicing PAs to foster community and support one another. We’ll begin with a 15-minute main session to get to know each other and discuss networking, mentorship, and the support needed throughout our journeys. Afterward, participants will move into breakout rooms for Pre-PAs, PA students, and practicing PAs. Each breakout room will have facilitators to guide meaningful discussions, while creating a safe space for everyone to share experiences and ask questions.

Detailed breakout room focus:
1. Pre-PA students: Discuss current stage in the PA journey, including PA applications, finances, and other considerations.
2. PA students: Depending on focus (didactic or clinical), facilitators will provide tools for End-of-Rotation (EOR) preparation, CV review, and job search strategies.
3. Practicing PAs: Share 5-year plans, career goals, and insights from professional experience.

Finally, all participants will reconvene to share insights and close the session together. Join us for this event to connect, learn, and grow together in a supportive community!
