JOB SUMMARY

The full-time Assistant/Associate/Full Professor is responsible for teaching, course development, and student mentorship for the MSPA program. The successful candidate must share in the mission of CSUSB and the MSPA program, as well as be a strong advocate for the PA profession. The faculty member is also actively involved in multiple facets of the program, including accreditation, assessment, admissions, and programmatic review. The selected candidate will join the team as a tenure track, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (rank commensurate to experience).

The Assistant/Associate/Full Professor reports directly to the Program Director and works collaboratively with the Faculty Director of Didactic Education, Faculty Director of Clinical Education, other PA Program faculty, and PA program staff to ensure the program is in full compliance with ARC-PA Standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must be or possess the following:

Physician assistant (PA) candidates must be or have:

  • Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical practice and/or full-time teaching experience as a Physician Assistant.

    Salary is commensurate with experience. Anticipated hiring range is $120,000 to $140,000 annually.

    Assistant Professor 12 month      (Range 3) - $7,127 – $15,211

    Associate Professor 12 month     (Range 4) - $7,830 – $16,697

    Professor                12 month     (Range 5) - $9,883 – $17,490
