Meet our new Student Alliance Officers and hear from Paola Gonzalez, MPAS, PA-C, on the "Importance of Student Advocacy and Leadership." Paola, a breast oncology PA at MD Anderson and past President of PAs for Latino Health, will share insights from her career in leadership and advocacy. Paola currently practices breast medical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, has served in many high-profile leadership roles within our profession, including as President of PAs for Latino Health, and was recently awarded AAPA's 2024 Diversity Award for her work in championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the PA profession.
