Ledyenska Baez Ballesteros is a board-certified PA with concentrations in primary care/internal medicine and obesity medicine. PA Baez was raised in West Texas where she received a Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University in 2003. She later moved to San Antonio and earned another B.S. in public health and a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2007. She has been employed with Gonzaba Medical Group since 2011 and has devoted years to honoring the “como familia” motto. In 2015, PA Baez created GMG’s obesity medicine program to better treat her patients’ overall health. PA Baez is dedicated to educating and helping her patients in caring for their health and better understanding obesity and its comorbidities. PA Baez currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for PAs in Obesity Medicine. Other memberships include American Academy of Physician Associates, Texas Academy of Physician Associates, Academy of PAs and NPs, Bexar County PA Society, and the Obesity Medicine Association. On her personal time, she loves spending time with family, especially her husband and their two young children. PA Baez is fluent in English and Spanish.
